Intellectual persons are the beauty of every society. All developments in the society (in any field) are the result of the hard work and thinking of these persons. A true intellectual person always remains too busy to think about the society or his field that he never thought about himself. As a re-knowned scholar and researcher once said that "Nabgha" (a person who is best of his field) are not proved a good husband. He then explain that a he is too high in his mentality that he could not come to the level of a woman to satisfy her in her household interest. This quote apply to all of our poets, novelist, writers. I have listened from a most popular poet of the Saraiki Language Shakir Shuja Abadi (the person who is got only primary education but his books are being taught at universities of Pakistan including Punjab University) that once he come to attend a "Mushaira" in Punjab University Lahore which was held in his honour. When he entered to the university many of the university student give him notes of 10 and 20 rupees because they think that he is a beggar. They remained shocked when they saw him in the Mushaira and it was announced that he is "Shakir Shuja Abadi".
Who is the responsible for this situation. Our generation is well informed about the actors and actresses who perform even in the stage dramas but don't know the famous poet of the area.
Friends please think about the situation. Its also the duty of our media to promote these persons which are honour of our society. Its also the responsibility of the government to provide facilities to the intellectual persons.
